1. Introduction / Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ONE WAY CABS. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our taxi services and our website one-way-cabs.in. By accessing our site, requesting quotes, or booking a ride through our WhatsApp system or phone lines, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with cab bookings or use our online services.
2. Services Offered
ONE WAY CABS provides premium, customizable transport services in India, specializing in the following categories:
- One-Way Cabs: Inter-city point-to-point drop services without return charges.
- Round Trips: Outstation travels starting and terminating at the same origin city.
- Local Rentals: Hourly packages (e.g., 4hrs/40km, 8hrs/80km) for intra-city transit.
- Airport Transfers: Pickups and drops to nearest airports (e.g., Patna Airport, Darbhanga Airport).
- Wedding & Event Travels: Block bookings of premium cars for special events.
- Corporate Packages: Regular monthly/daily travel packages for businesses.
3. Booking & Cancellation Policy
We strive to make booking and cancellation hassle-free while maintaining a fair schedule for our drivers:
- Free Cancellation: Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time.
- Late Cancellation / Mobilization Fee: If a booking is cancelled less than 4 hours before pickup, or if the driver has already been dispatched/reached the location, a mobilization fee equivalent to the driver's travel cost or a flat fee may apply.
- No Show: If you fail to show up within 45 minutes of the scheduled pickup time without coordinating with the driver or our support desk, the ride will be marked as a No-Show, and cancellation charges will apply.
4. Payment Terms
We offer multiple convenient payment options:
- Accepted Modes: Payments can be made via UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, or Direct Cash.
- Direct to Driver: You can pay the remaining balance amount directly to the driver at the end of the trip via cash or UPI.
- Advance Payments: For peak travel seasons or special vehicle bookings (such as Tempo Travellers or Luxury SUVs), a partial advance payment may be required to confirm the vehicle.
5. Toll, Parking & State Tax charges
To keep our base fares as affordable as possible, the following charges are handled separately:
- Excluded Fares: All highway toll taxes, parking fees, airport entry charges, and interstate permits/taxes are excluded from the base cab rate.
- Actual Basis: The customer must pay these charges on an actual basis directly at the tolls, or reimburse the driver at the end of the trip with valid receipts.
6. Driver & Vehicle Responsibility
We take pride in maintaining an excellent standard of safety and comfort:
- Verified & Professional: All drivers hold valid commercial driving licenses and pass rigorous background verifications.
- Vehicle Standard: We provide clean, vacuumed, and sanitized vehicles equipped with working air conditioners.
- Unforeseen Events: While we ensure punctual service, we are not liable for delays caused by force majeure events such as extreme weather, natural disasters, severe traffic blocks, or mechanical breakdowns. In case of a breakdown, we will make reasonable efforts to coordinate a replacement vehicle.
7. Customer Responsibility
As a passenger, you agree to the following guidelines:
- Accurate Details: You must provide exact pickup address, drop location, date, and contact numbers. We are not liable for delayed pickups resulting from incorrect address inputs.
- Identification: Passengers must carry valid ID proof (Adhaar, PAN, etc.) if crossing state borders, as required by law.
- Conduct: Safe and polite behavior toward the driver is expected. Smoking, drinking alcohol, or carrying illegal substances in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall ONE WAY CABS or its partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including missed flights, trains, business meetings, or lost profits) arising from trip delays or service disruptions. Our maximum liability for any booking is strictly limited to the actual fare paid for that specific booking.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
